A very dark day has descended on the pit bull and right now we all feel like we are being consumed. But sometimes the smallest acts of kindness create a wave that cannot be stopped. We now challenge EVERY pit bull owner and company who says they are for the pit bull to step up and support the SPCAs and private shelters (details on request of those who are definitely helping) who are taking in these dogs. Post a photo of you with your donation with # IAM (and your dogs name) and include your local SPCAs name and we will feature it on our face book page. Let us show the world not every pit bull owner is the same. Things they need Dry dog food ( adult and puppy). Wet dog food Blankets Shampoo Fly traps for the kennels Washing powder Dish washing liquid And how about throwing in something for the staff ( a cake, some 2L cold drinks, snacks for the staff who will be stuck in their cars fetching dogs).

It is becoming more and more evident that dog attacks from other breeds too are being ignored by law enforcement and ignored by the media.  We are calling on ALL bite or attack victims (humans and their animals) who have been attacked by any off-leash dog EXCLUDING pit bulls to come forward. Please email through to us management@pbfsa.co.za We are not only going to use this to prove that all those tasked with enforcing the AMAA FAILED!! but we will be exploring options to hold the media to account for sensationalist reporting at the expense of lives and for causing a frenzy while being unwilling to report on the lack of action by those who are mandated by law to protect citizens and in so doing have cost many lives. Folks your dogs do have rights as do you. If you or your dog are being threatened please reach out to your local SAPS and SPCA. When you do go report to the SAPS make sure you get the officers name who you speak to first. Note the date and time that you went to the police station. Should you not recieve help please send the information above to us we will make sure it reaches their superiors. Threats made to your dog need to be reported to your local SPCA. Please report the sale of 2 step to your local SAPS (same applies as above, get all details) and your local SPCA. Share nothing on whatsapp and facebook.
