AND… did you know that the Pit Bull Federation of South Africa (PBFSA) has been against ear cropping since 2015? Let’s promote education, awareness, and kindness to all animals! “Ear cropping is regarded as maming an animal, and is therefore illegal according to the Animal Protection Act 71, of 1962”

Lately, we’ve noticed a surge in self-proclaimed “experts” on the American Pit Bull Terrier. However, when we dig deeper, we find that many of these “experts” have NEVER OWNED and American Pit Bull Terrier in their lives! As the American Pit Bull Terrier Community in SA, let’s remind them that owning and living with the APBT breed is vastly different from simply reading about it! As the oldest APBT organization in South Africa, we have the knowledge and experience on how to deal with this breed – do not underestimate the power of correct knowledge!
