Support Ethical Rescue

Know Who You’re Backing! 🐾

In light of the recent and heartbreaking revelations by the Cape of Good Hope SPCA exposing cruelty disguised as “rescue” in Kirstenhof, Cape Town, the Pit Bull Federation of South Africa urges the public to remain vigilant and informed when supporting any rescue, trainer, behaviorist, or breeder.

⚠️ Not all who claim to help animals are truly acting in their best interests.

👀 Do Your Research Before donating, adopting, or promoting an organization:

✅ Check their credentials

✅ Ask questions about their practices

✅ Look for transparency and accountability

✅ Speak to reputable breed-specific organizations like the PBFSA

🤝 Why It Matters – Legitimate organizations are accountable to their community, operate transparently, and place the welfare of animals first. Pit bulls, in particular, are often exploited, misunderstood, or mishandled—they deserve better.

📩 If you’re unsure, reach out to us or other credible welfare bodies for advice.

Let’s stand together to protect vulnerable animals and support only ethical, trustworthy organizations that are part of the solution—not the problem. 💔🐶
